Sean Farrell: Sean is from County Longford and has been working with Trocaire for the past seven years. He has spent 6 years on the missions and has worked with a number of missionary groups overseas. He has a lot of first hand experience of working with missionaries and this will be central to the thoughts he will share.
Brian O' Reilly is the outgoing national President of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, and is the international Vice President of the Society.
Eddie Stone and his wife, Lucy, run the Emmanuel House of Providence in Clonfert. Their vision for the Centre is to provide a spiritual hospital where people can experience the healing power of God in spirit, mind and body. The weekly and monthly healing and reconciliation services at Emmanuel House are attended by many people from the Region.
Aileen Walsh, (nee: Rouse) is a native of Athlone, now living in Dublin.
She is a psychologist and theologian and presently lectures in Pastoral Theology in Milltown Institute of Theology and Philosophy, Dublin. Aileen is married to Bernard and they have three sons and one daughter.
Fr. Shay Casey, has been chaplain to Athlone Institute of Technology for over twenty years. In his work as chaplain, he has been welcoming foreign students to the College and helping them to assimilate into College life and the local community. Fr. Shay was recently awarded the title of 'Athlone Person of the Year', in recognition of his work in Athlone I.T.
Fr. Frank Gray, is Parish Priest of Carrick-Finea and was formerly a curate and then Administrator here in St. Mary's Parish. During his time in St. Mary's he was responsible for the publication of 'St. Mary's Parish, A History', written by Gearoid O'Brien.
